It's hard to believe we've been living in our new abode for over a month. I love having our own little space again. I thought transitioning you into your own room again was going to be very difficult but you've actually been pretty good. You still wake up in the night sometimes more than others but most of the time you are happy if I come and give you a quick cuddle in your bed, which is much easier now that you have a big double bed.
You seem to be enjoying the new class at school, once a fortnight you have show and tell which keeps mummy scratching her head as she has to come up with new and interesting things to take in and talk about. The best one was when we made a song sheet for you of 'happy face' the song that you made up with auntie sam when we visited. Your teachers loved it and said you were so brave when you went up the front and sang it loud and clear.
You loved it the first week we were living here and we got home to a parcel from Nana which was a poncho and dad said you looked like a little lamb so you scooted around the apartment bleeding like a little lamb.
We also finally got around to Persuading daddy to let you have your first hair cut. you loved sitting in the chair next to daddy whilst he had his hair cut. We couldn't wipe the big grin off your face, you thought it was so much fun.
Mummy has been quite poorly recently so we having been getting out and about as much but we have discovered all the local shops and parks around here. One of them even has a flying fox which you think is so much fun, you even managed to convince daddy to have a go.
You are so excited that your cousins have moved back to sydney and that you get to see them lots more. We went to visit their new (old) house up on the central coast and stopped for a visit at the wildlife park. You loved following the kangaroos around and chasing the wallabies but you go a bit too close and frightened mummy and daddy a little.
You especially loved feeding the goats and there was one greedy little goat that almost ate your hand!
We do manage regular visits to play school again now though, your favourite activities are painting (or anything that involves getting very messy - like playing with goo and water) but you really seem to enjoy playing with the dollly's and the kitchen.
